Introducing Colorado Springs Chiropracic Neurologist, Dr. Brad Gulla

"I grew up thinking that medical school was the only option for me."

My mother was an emergency room nurse and I was heavily influenced by the medical mindset of doctors and nurses that worked in her small hospital. As I prepared to test for entrance to medical schools, a family friend who was a psychiatrist suggested that I check out the option of chiropractic college. I soon visited Parker College of Chiropractic and never looked back at the option of medical school. It was obvious that I was in the right place - the philosophy of true preventative wellness care just made sense to me at that time.

As a student of Parker Chiropractic College, my studies in neurology quickly began to influence my thinking. It became very clear that the health of the brain and spinal cord was the key to true wellness and longevity. My interest in neurology grew from that point such that once I received my doctorate in chiropractic, I began a three year endeavor into a post-doctoral neurology program that led to a board certification in chiropractic neurology.

I am interested in saving lives and improving the quality of the lives of people around me. I strive to continuously improve my base of knowledge, and to apply that knowledge in a manner that promotes healthy lives for my patients and their loved ones. Many of my patients are referred by other health care practitioners for neurological evaluations and treatment. These patients seem to be very at-ease with our office and our special attention to cases that require more neurological detail.

We love to see patients in good health. Whether a patient enters our practice with a host of problems, or simply for wellness care, we come back to the office day after day because of the joy of watching our patients achieve their health care goals. Proper nutrition is a integral part of any healthy lifestyle. If we continuously supply our bodies with top-grade fuel, we'll be surprised at the mileage we can get!

I have two sons, Ethan and Chase - they are 18 and 16, respectively. Our favorite activities to do together include snowboarding, motor cross, and a bit of golf. I also do a lot of technical rock climbing and I play doubles sand volleyball. Colorado is a wonderful place to raise a family!
